Snow Workshop Wrap-up and Photos
The LiquidPub-sponsored First Workshop on Scientific Knowledge Creation, Dissemination, and Evaluation is over, and it was a great success. We had many wonderful, intelligent, and interested participants who really made the discussions pop. We will be compiling notes from the panels and supplementary material. The Related Research section of the site is just getting started. We've added a related project, and now a piece of related literature. We'll be adding additional resources and background in the future.

The venue for the LiquidPub Snow Workshop has been arranged. We will be holding the Workshop in the Dolomite Mountains at the Sporthotel Alpenrose in Karersee, Italy.

We have prepared a short distillation of the project motivation, objectives, plans, criteria, and work for folks who want to contribute, or anyone who wants to know more about the project.

Development activity
We have several initial development efforts underway. Development is primarily in Java and Javascript. If you would like to get involved, see more inside.

The LiquidPub project now includes a wiki where we are collaboratively working on several efforts and coordinating development.

LiquidPub is underway.
The LiquidPub Project is officially underway as of the first of May. We are organizing and getting ready for research, outreach, and community building. We hope you’ll continue to check in with us and participate in our efforts and the community discussions. Feel free to add this blog to your feedreader, or subscribe to the liquidpub-announce mailing list. This is a low-volume list to let those interested know when we’ve updated the website or made other information available.
